The Sidewalk school has begun working with Casa Migrante, which offers a dignified and safe place to migrants passing through the city of Reynosa. They are currently helping shelter a large number of asylum seekers who face the threat of COVID-19 in the plaza. Casa Migrante provides them free of charge with basic services during their stay, such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items, phone calls, medical care, psychological care, procedures of some personal documents while promoting their family reunification.
